Esper Balance Adjustments in Version 3.1.7

Based on correspondence about the stage adjustments done in version 3.1.7, we will adjust the abilities and stats of some Espers after version 3.1.7. We hope to give each Esper a clearer and more unique role on the battlefield, bringing more freedom for players to make their best squad lineups and strategies.

For all players who have acquired and invested in Espers that are affected by these adjustments, we will issue Rewind Certificates after version 3.1.7 (which can be found in the Inventory after the update).

Below is a preliminary plan to balance the Espers. (Not the final plan and subject to change. The final content released in the future update may differ from this version.)

Espers Before After
Cecilia (Isis) Ability 1 Attacks 1 enemy. Damage: 30% ATK + 5.5% max HP.
Cecilia recovers HP. Healing: 100% of damage dealt.
Ability 2 When killed for the first time: Revives and heals all fallen allies. Healing: 15% of target's max HP.
Grants all allies [Shield] for 1 turn. Shield Strength: 50% of target's max HP.

[Ascension]: All allies +50% AP.
(Changed to Active) Revives and heals all fallen allies. Healing: 15% of ally's max HP. Grants them +30% AP. Each revived ally extends this ability's cooldown by +1 turn.
Grants all allies [Shield] for 1 turn. Shield Strength: 50% of ally's max HP. Grants all allies +20% AP. This ability's cooldown is not affected by any methods.

[Ascension]: If this ability is not in cooldown when Isis dies, it will be automatically cast.
Ability 3 Dispels debuffs from all allies. Grants all allies [Immunity] for 1 turn.
Heals all allies. Healing: 35% of target's max HP.
Sienna (Gaia) Ability 1 Attacks 1 enemy. Damage: 125% ATK.
Grants +15% AP to Sienna and 1 random ally.
Ability 2 Grants all allies [ATK Up] and [SPD Up] for 2 turns.
Ability 3 Attacks all enemies. Damage: 120% ATK.
Clears enemy AP. Upon successful clear, 60% chance of inflicting [Stun] for 1 turn.

[Ascension]: Sienna gains an additional turn.

Max: Cooldown 6 turns.
Attacks all enemies. Damage: 120% ATK.
Clears the enemy's AP. Upon successful clearing, 100% chance of inflicting [Stun] for 1 turn.

[Ascension]: Grants an additional turn.

 Max: Cooldown 5 turns. 
Sally (Sif) Ability 1 Attacks 1 enemy 3 times. Damage per hit: 45% ATK.
60% chance of gaining [Immunity] for 2 turns.
Ability 2 Dispels all ally debuffs.
Redistributes HP evenly across all allies.
Grants all allies [ATK Up] for 2 turns.
Dispels debuffs from all allies. Redistributes HP evenly across all allies.
Grants [ATK Up] and [Recovery] to all allies for 2 turns.
Ability 3 Sally gains [Sweet Harvest] for 2 turns.
If Sally is Incapacitated while this is in effect, heals the ally who is about to act. Healing: 26% of the ally's max HP. Dispels 1 debuff from them.

[Ascension]: While this effect is active, all allies take -25% damage.
Gabrielle (Njord) Ability 1 Attacks 1 enemy. Damage: 140% ATK.
Each SPD deals extra damage. Extra Damage: 0.45% ATK.
Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Total Damage: 140% ATK.
Each SPD grants extra damage to each attack. Extra Damage: 0.23% ATK.
Ability 2 Attacks all enemies 3 times. Total Damage: 80% ATK.
Each hit has a 50% chance of inflicting [DEF Down] for 2 turns.
Ability 3 Attacks all enemies. Damage: 105% ATK.
Inflicts [ATK Down] on them for 2 turns.
Grants all allies [DEF Up] for 2 turns.

[Ascension]: Grants all allies [Immunity] for 2 turns.
Attacks all enemies 3 times. Total Damage: 105% ATK.
Each hit inflicts [ATK Down] for 2 turns.
Grants [DEF Up] to all allies for 2 turns.

[Ascension]: Grants all allies [Immunity] for 2 turns.
Brewster (Garmr) Ability 1 Attacks 1 enemy. Damage: 100% ATK.
100% chance of inflicting [DEF Down] for 2 turns.
Ability 2 Attacks 1 enemy. Damage: 180% ATK.
Inflicts [Stun] for 1 turn. Upon successful Stun, Brewster gains 2 stacks of [Reload! Attack!]. If failed to Stun, Damage +30%.
Ability 3 Attacks 1 enemy. Damage: 270% ATK.
Inflicts [Buff Blocker] for 2 turns. Upon triggering a Crit, clears the target's AP.
Brewster gains 5 stacks of [Reload! Attack!].

[Ascension]: Grants all allies [C. RATE Up] for 2 turns.

[Reload! Attack!]: (Can't be dispelled) Assists when an ally attacks. The next attack restores HP. Healing: 10% of damage dealt. While attacking, gains AP based on the number of [Reload! Attack!] stacks. AP +6% per stack. Max 6 stacks.
[Reload! Attack!]: (Can't be dispelled) Assists when an ally attacks. The next attack transfers 1 debuff to the enemy and restores Brewster's HP. Healing: 10% of damage dealt.
When attacking, gains AP based on the number of [Reload! Attack!] stacks. +6% AP per stack. Max 6 stacks.
Clara (Hera) Ability 1 Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Total Damage: 110% ATK.
Each hit heals the ally with the lowest HP percentage. Healing: 5% of Clara's max HP.
Attacks 1 enemy. Damage: 110% ATK.
Heals 2 allies. Healing: 5% of Clara's max HP. Prioritizes allies with the lowest HP percentages.
Ability 2 Upon healing allies, dispels 1 debuff from them.

[Ascension]: When healing amount overflows, grants [Shield] for 2 turns. Shield Strength: 120% of overflow healing.
Ability 3 Grants all allies +20% AP.
Heals all allies. Healing: 35% of target's max HP.
Dispels 1 debuff from each ally. If an ally has no debuffs, grants [Immunity] for 1 turn.
Lewis (Ares) Ability 1 Attacks 1 enemy. Damage: 130% ATK.
Recovers HP. Healing: 50% of damage dealt.
Upon triggering a Crit, +20% AP.
Ability 2 Gains [C. RATE Up] for 2 turns.
Attacks 1 enemy. Damage: 180% ATK.
Upon triggering a Crit, gains an additional turn.

For every 10% of the enemy’s max HP lost, Damage +4%.

[Ascension]: When killing a target, all ability cooldowns -1 turn, then gains [Invincibility] for 1 turn.
Anesidora (Pandora) Ability 1 Attacks 1 enemy. Damage: 30% ATK + 8% max HP.
50% chance of inflicting [ATK Down] for 2 turns.
Ability 2 Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Damage per hit: 20% ATK + 6% max HP.
Each hit has a 60% chance of dispelling 1 buff.

[Ascension]: Instantly trigger target's [Pandora’s Box] effect.
Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Damage per hit: 20% ATK + 6% max HP.
Each hit has a 60% chance of dispelling 1 buff.

[Ascension]: Instantly trigger target's [Pandora’s Box] effect. Inflicts [Stun] for 1 turn.
Ability 3 Grants all allies [SPD Up] for 2 turns.
Inflicts [Pandora’s Box] on all enemies for 2 turns. After the enemy takes action for 2 turns, reduces their HP by 50%, and [Stuns] them for 1 turn (not applicable to Bosses).
Gains an additional turn.
Grants all allies [SPD Up] for 2 turns.
Inflicts [Pandora's Box] on all enemies for 2 turns.
After an enemy takes action, HP -30%, and inflicts [SPD Down] for 2 turns (not applicable to Bosses).

Sander (Set) Ability 1 Attacks 1 enemy. Damage: 70% ATK.
Each SPD grants extra damage. Extra Damage: 0.33% ATK.
75% chance of reducing enemy AP by -30%.
Ability 2 Attacks 1 enemy. Damage: 180% ATK.
Each SPD grants extra damage. Extra Damage: 0.33% ATK.
100% chance of inflicting [SPD Down] for 2 turns.
Upon triggering a Crit, gains [SPD Up] for 2 turns.
Ability 3 Attacks 1 enemy 3 times. Damage per hit: 60% ATK.
Each SPD grants extra damage. Extra Damage: 0.33% ATK.
Each hit has a 50% chance of reducing the enemy’s AP by -30%.

[Ascension]: The 3rd hit [Stuns] the enemy for 1 turn.
Attacks 1 enemy. Damage: 180% ATK.
Each SPD grants extra damage. Extra Damage: 1% ATK.
100% chance of reducing enemy AP by -60%.

[Ascension]: Inflicts [Stun] for 1 turn.
Dhalia (Calypso) Ability 1 Attacks 1 enemy. Damage: 110% ATK.
50% chance of inflicting [Stun] for 1 turn.
Ability 2 Attacks 1 enemy 3 times. Damage per hit: 50% ATK.
70% chance of inflicting [SPD Down] for 2 turns. If the enemy is already afflicted with [SPD Down], inflict [Freeze] for 1 turn.

Max: Cooldown 2 turns
Attacks 1 enemy 3 times. Damage per hit: 50% ATK.
70% chance of inflicting [SPD Down] for 2 turns. 50% chance of inflicting [Freeze] for 1 turn on target's with [SPD Down].

Max: Cooldown 3 turns
Ability 3 Grants all allies +25% AP.
Grants all allies [C. RATE Up] for 2 turns.

[Ascension]: Grants the target [ATK Up] for 2 turns.   
Xiao Yin (Azure Dragon) Ability 1 Attacks 1 enemy. Damage: 120% ATK.
Upon triggering a Crit, deals extra damage. Extra Damage: 20% ATK.
Attacks 1 enemy. Damage: 120% ATK.
Gains [SPD Up] for 2 turns.
Ability 2 Attacks 1 enemy 3 times. Damage per hit: 70% ATK.
Gains [Stealth] for 1 turn after attacking.
While in [Stealth], Damage +30%.
When [Stealth] ends, +30% AP.

[Ascension]: Begins the battle with [Stealth]. Lasts 1 turn.
Attacks 1 enemy 3 times. Damage per hit: 70% ATK.
Inflicts [SPD Down] for 2 turns. After attacking, extends [Stealth] by 1 turn. While in [Stealth], Damage +30%. Dealing damage steals 10% of the target's AP.

[Ascension]: Starts the battle with [Stealth] for 1 turn.
Ability 3 Attacks 1 enemy 4 times. Damage per hit: 60% ATK.
Each debuff on the enemy grants 25% extra damage, up to 150%.
Upon killing the enemy, gains [Stealth] for 1 turn.
Attacks 1 enemy 4 times. Damage per hit: 60% ATK.
Each hit has a 50% chance of inflicting -20% AP. If this AP reduction is triggered, gains [Stealth] for 1 turn.
Lynn (Hathor) Ability 1 Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Damage per hit: 60% ATK.
Upon triggering a Crit, gains [Immunity] for 1 turn.
Ability 2 Attacks 1 enemy 3 times. Total Damage: 200% ATK.
Each hit has a 60% chance of dispelling 1 buff. Upon successful dispelling, inflicts [ATK Down] for 2 turns.
Ability 3 Attacks 1 enemy. Damage: 280% ATK damage.
Inflicts [Sear] for 2 turns.
Gains a [Shield] for 2 turns. Shield Strength: 35% of max HP.

[Ascension]: When triggering a Crit, gains +30% Extra Damage, and +50% Shield Strength.
Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Damage: 140% ATK.
Inflicts [Sear] for 2 turns.

Dispels 1 debuff from the caster.
Ability 2 Gains 1 stack of [Bull Rage] per hit taken.
Each stack increases base DEF by 10% and base RESIST by 5%. Max: 10 stacks.

[Ascension]: Grants an additional turn upon gaining 10 stacks of [Bull Rage].
While [Bull Rage] is active, attacks will inflict [Diseased] for 2 turns. Can't be resisted.

[Ascension]: Gains 1 stack of [Bull Rage] per attack.
Ability 3 Attacks 1 enemy. Damage: 80% ATK + 120% DEF.
Inflicts [Taunt] for 2 turns.
If Djoser has 10 stacks of [Bull Rage], Damage +50%.

[Bull Rage]: Gains basic DEF +10% and RESIST +5% per stack.
When inflicted with a non-Incapacitation debuff, 50% chance of consuming 1 Bull Rage stack to resist this debuff.

[Ascension]: When an ally's [Shield] is broken or dispelled, 30% to counterattack (triggers once per turn).
After an ally takes action, grants them [Shield] for 1 turn. Shield Strength: 10% of Laura’s max HP.
